This is a one-time lesson that will introduce young learner to a routine that warms up and prepares the muscles for a front split. This routine is inspired by years of practicing yoga and gymnastics and it emphasizes the proper alignment that allows to practice deep stretches safely. The teacher will show all the exercises step by step, as well as provide some ways to modify and adjust the routine to each student's personal needs. There is no prior experience required to enter the class. Even though not everybody will be able to come into a split by the end of the class, all the participants will feel more flexible and will acquire all the information needed to work their way towards a front split.

Parental Guidance
We will be going through some physical stretches and exercises that require a yoga mat, a yoga block or a book and a yoga strap (any strap or rope will work).
If a young learner has had any injuries or chronic diseases, please consult a physician prior to doing any stretching exercises.
Supply List
A yoga mat, a water bottle, comfortable clothes, a yoga strap.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
