Class Experience

In this class students will be in a live class where they will learn about color theory using a color wheel. They will be taught the primary, secondary, tertiary and complimentary colors. They will learn the meaning of each group and be able to identify what colors belong to each group. The students will learn how to blend primary colors and secondary colors together, in turn creating their own color wheel. The students will follow along and paint their wheel during class. They will also answer questions throughout the lesson about colors.

They will need:
*paper
*water color pallet that includes red, yellow, and blue
*a paint brush
*a cup of water

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
