Ready to hear your children speak Spanish? Yes! This will happen from day 1, our class is designed to teach your children through natural use of the language, exposing them through different activities that will keep it fun and engaging!

 Week 1
Lesson 1
Greetings & Farewells P1
During Day 1, we will be introducing greetings and farewells in Spanish. We will learn how to greet others according to the time of day and talk about where we are from. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use appropriate greetings for different times of the day, exchange basic farewells, and introduce themselves by stating their place of origin.

Greetings & Farewells P2
During Day 2, students will engage in interactive activities focused on greetings and farewells. Through hands-on practice and role-playing scenarios, students will build confidence in using their new language skills in real-life conversations, reinforcing their understanding of greetings according to the time of day and discussing where they are from.

Lesson 3
Meet My New Friend P1
During Day 1, students will learn how to introduce themselves and others in a conversation, along with reviewing basic greetings. Activities will include practicing common greetings, role-playing introductions, and engaging in interactive exercises to introduce a friend. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to confidently greet others and introduce themselves and someone else in Spanish.

Meet My New Friend P2
During Day 2, the focus will shift to the basics of Spanish vowels, starting with the letter A, and introducing numbers 1-5. Students will practice pronouncing and using the vowel A in different words, learn to count from 1 to 5, and use these numbers to talk about quantities in simple conversations. Through interactive activities and role-playing scenarios, students will incorporate the letter A and numbers into their dialogues. By the end of the lesson, students will be ab

Lesson 5
I am Happy! P1
Day 1, students will review how to introduce themselves and others. The main focus will be on expressing emotions. Activities will include practicing different phrases to describe feelings (e.g., "Estoy feliz," "Estoy triste") and role-playing scenarios to express emotions in various contexts. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to introduce themselves and express their emotions confidently in Spanish.
Lesson 6
I am Happy! P2
Day 2, students will learn the pronunciation and usage of the vowel E in different words. We will also review numbers 1-5, focusing on using them to respond to real-life questions. Activities will include practicing words with the vowel E, counting exercises, and answering questions that involve quantities. Through interactive exercises and role-playing, students will practice using the vowel E and numbers in everyday conversations. We will continue to review and practice our introductions.
 Week 4
Lesson 7
The Colors of the Rainbow P1
On Day 1, we will start by reviewing how to express emotions in Spanish. Students will learn phrases to describe their feelings and will be introduced to colors and numbers from 1 to 10. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to express their emotions, name colors, and count from 1 to 10 in Spanish.

The Colors of the Rainbow P2
On Day 2, we will focus on the vowel I, practicing its pronunciation and usage in different words. We will reinforce our understanding of colors and numbers by incorporating them into real-life scenarios and conversations. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to recognize and use the vowel I in words, describe objects using colors and numbers, and confidently express their emotions.
 Week 5
Lesson 9
Splash of Color P1
On Day 1, we will dive into a colorful adventure by reviewing the colors learned previously and introducing a new batch of vibrant colors. We'll also kick off the fun by learning numbers 1-15. By the end of the lesson, students will be color experts and able to count from 1 to 15 in Spanish.
Lesson 10
Splash of Color P2
On Day 2, we will explore the exciting world of the vowel O, practicing its pronunciation and usage in different words. We'll continue our color and number journey, focusing on identifying the new colors and counting from 11-15. By the end of the lesson, students will be vowel O champions, able to identify all the new colors, and count from 11 to 15 in Spanish.
 Week 6
Lesson 11
What Size is it? P1
On Day 1, we will review our colors and vowels through a fun underwater adventure. We'll dive into the concepts of big and small by identifying different sea creatures. We'll start counting from 1-20. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to recognize colors and vowels, and identify sea creatures as big or small.
Lesson 12
What Size is it? P2
On Day 2, we will continue our underwater journey, focusing on the letter U. We'll count from 16-20, incorporating fun sea life examples. Activities will include identifying big and small items in the ocean and using the letter U in different words. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify items that are big and small, count from 16-20, and recognize and use the letter U in words.

Lesson 13
Shapes are Fun! P1
On Day 1, we will review the concepts of big and small through various activities. We will introduce different shapes such as circles, squares, and triangles. We'll practice identifying these shapes as big or small, and by the number of sides, color, and size. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to distinguish between big and small shapes, recognize basic geometric shapes, and describe them based on their properties
Lesson 14
Shapes are Fun! P2
On Day 2, we will continue exploring shapes and start learning numbers 21-25. Activities will include identifying and drawing shapes, and practicing counting using these numbers. We'll also describe shapes by the number of sides, color, and size, and identify these shapes in real-life objects. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify various shapes, understand the concepts of big and small, describe shapes by their properties, and count from 21 to 25 in Spanish.
 Week 8
Lesson 15
My Family! P1
On Day 1, we will refresh our knowledge of shapes and counting from previous lessons. We'll then dive into the topic of family, learning how to name different family members such as "madre," "padre," "hermano," and "hermana." By the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify various family members and have a solid review of shapes and counting.
Lesson 16
My Family! P2
On Day 2, we will explore the concept of family trees, helping students describe their family relationships. We will also learn numbers 26-30 and practice using them in real-life scenarios. Activities will include creating and discussing family trees and incorporating numbers into everyday conversations. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify different family members, describe their family trees, and confidently use numbers 26-30 in practical contexts.
This class is taught in Spanish.
  • Develop Basic Conversational Skills: Learn to introduce oneself and others, express emotions, identify family members, and engage in simple conversations.
  • Build Vocabulary and Pronunciation: Gain proficiency in using greetings and farewells, colors, shapes, and family-related terms while practicing the pronunciation of key vowels (A, E, O, U, I).
  • Master Counting and Quantities: Count from 1 to 30 and use numbers in various contexts, such as describing quantities, sizes, and real-life scenarios.
Am a Bilingual EC-6 and Spanish EC-12 Certified Educator. I hold a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction and have been teaching students from across the country online for the last 11 plus years. I have extensive experience building Spanish curriculum for levels 1, 2, 3 and AP. Am a native Spanish speaker.
