🚀 Class Description: If your learner wants to learn how to make their own music, you have come to the right place! We will be using Bandlab to create incredible digital music. Mr. Rizer has created music for several indie video games and has spent years teaching kids how to create digital music. Please make sure that you download the Bandlab app before class. Here is the link and if you have any questions, please send us a message so we can help: https://www.bandlab.com/download Our goal is to help our students learn the basics of creating incredible music. We will talk about things like balance, mood, melody, harmony and so much more. Then, students will create music during class and continue working on it outside of class as much as they like. At the beginning of each class, there will be an opportunity for students to share their music. Enroll today and learn how to make amazing digital music for video games! This course will not follow a strict weekly schedule. Our goal is to help students learn to explore the app and learn skills as they make music together. We want this to be a very student-led class based on the students who are enrolled and their interests. 🍎Get to know our teachers (copy and paste in your browser): https://bit.ly/VGUMeetTheTeachers 🥳 Small Class Sizes: Our smaller class sizes guarantee quality attention given to each individual! Rather than getting lost inside a giant class or being isolated inside a Zoom breakout room, our teachers play along on their screens and get to know every individual, and learners are given a chance to form true bonds of friendship. 📝What you'll do: The class meets weekly for 1 hour. Each week, you'll dive into the exciting world of music composition. You will: - Learn Music Principles: theory, musical theory, and how to create music for specific moods - Share Your Music: We want to see what you've been working on, share your hard work with us! - Nurture Friendships: Develop communication and social skills by collaborating with other kids. 🎵 No prior experience with the app is necessary — beginners and experienced musicians alike will find joy and camaraderie here. ✅What You'll Need: - A copy of Bandlab (PC or mobile) - A reliable internet connection - A microphone and headphones for communication
