40 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one time class, students will be introduced to THREE very simple ways to tying shoe laces. The first thirty minutes will be interactive-instruction. Approximately ten minutes will be spent explaining each method. The last ten minutes will provide students with the opportunity to practice their favorite technique(s). I like to teach using a fun, laid back approach that encourages students to actively listen and ask questions during the entire process. After the workshop I will post pictures to remind students of all three methods taught in the workshop. Please keep in mind that students learn differently and at different speeds. Although students will be encouraged to complete the class knowing how to tie their own shoes, unfair pressure will not be placed solely on the end product. Some students may benefit from the this workshop as a foundation to reaching their goals. If an extra workshop is needed, please feel free to reach out to me.

Hello! My name is Angela! I am a teacher with over 25 years of experience. I also have a Masters in Theology and am a Certified Plan to Protect Trainer. I have been teaching at a private gifted school for over 20 years. My objective in teaching is to evoke a lasting curiosity and desire to learn in students. I believe that learning is both intriguing and contagious. I also believe that learning is a never ending process; never a destination.
In addition to being a teacher and life-long learner, I am also a mom. Through the years, our home has been full of interests that we pursue together as a family: making puzzles, building Lego projects, experimenting with baking and cooking, learning to painting, planting vegetable gardens etc. we have tried it all. We have always made pursuing our passions a priority and we have no intention of slowing down.
