CLASS STRUCTURE: Classes begin with a welcome and brief intro and then the demonstration as students draw along with me. Students are encouraged to add their own creative customizations as we go along and they find more confidence in their work. We pause to share work and get feedback throughout. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: This class is continuous and does not necessarily follow a start and end topic rhythm. New learners are welcome to join at any point. Many learners join and stay for 20, 30, 40 weeks or more! Lessons are always evolving with the class, and rather than specific lessons delivered the same way again, the lessons are adapted to create an experience of growth for as long as a learner should stay - even a full year or more! As she loved video games and cartoons as a child, she began drawing digitally in middle school and hasn’t stopped since! Taking that passion, she took online classes through the Academy of Art University in highschool and then pursued a degree in Film & Animation at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she also completed a minor in Game Design. After college, Maggie attended the Disney College Program and worked at the Walt Disney World Parks in Florida while attending seminar classes with Disney artists and designers! She also makes freelance animated videos for the YouTube channel Psych2Go, which has over 11 million subscribers! Maggie firmly believes that everyone deserves to have a space to create, all art forms are valid, and any art fundamentals can be learned through drawing characters you love to draw!
