Does your child love Minecraft? Would they like to grow as an artist? This class is for them! This Creeper drawing class was requested by many students who have taken my Minecraft self portrait class. In this one time class, I will teach students how to draw a Minecraft Creeper step-by-step through a technique called "directed drawing." Like my other art classes, this class is beginner friendly! The graph paper will help students draw straight lines and shapes the proper size. Plus, graph paper is perfect for pixel art like Minecraft! Due to the structure of this art class, there will not be a lot of time for student discourse. This course is very teacher-guided to maximize instructional time. Class will be structured as follows: 1) Introduction 2) Teacher will model and guide students how to draw a Minecraft Creeper with pencil 3) Students will color their Minecraft Creepers with guidance from teacher. Note: students who tend to take more time with their art may not finish coloring during this course. That's okay! They will be able to finish this on their own after class. I am an elementary school teacher and I have a bubbly, easygoing teaching style! I look forward to seeing your child in my class!

Other Details
Supply List
Students will need to print the provided graph paper. Students will also need a pencil, eraser, a black marker, and 3 or more different shades of green. I recommend students use crayons or colored pencils for the green parts of this drawing as markers sometimes bleed into each other.
