In this class students will learn the basics of crocheting, chaining (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), weaving in ends. Student will create a small potholder for class to be able to complete start to finish with time allowed for this class. In the pattern provided, students can make a larger size after they learn the pattern on their own. This pattern is appropriate for beginner and intermediate students to learn crocheting. Teacher will demonstrate live and students and teacher will make project together in class. Supplies needed will be Yarn: 100% cotton, crochet hook: size G or H (4.0 mm) or H (5.0mm). Learning Goals
Students will learn to basic crochet skills: chaining (ch), slip stitch, single crochet (sc), and weaving in ends. Student will be able to complete a small potholder in class and have in the pattern to make a larger size if they wish in their own time.
