35 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one time class, students will learn how to correctly write the capital (or uppercase) letters of the alphabet. Good penmanship is very important to have, so it is important to learn how to write each letter at a young age. Each letter has a unique way of being written correctly, and I will demonstrate each letter. The students are encouraged to practice writing each letter as well. We will practice through song and writing. I will have a slide for each letter, so that all students can easily see the letters and how the letters should be written. Students should have a basic understanding of how uppercase letters are written. This class offers an overview of correctly writing uppercase letters.
Learning Goals
Students will review how to properly write all 26 capital/uppercase letters of the alphabet. Even if you are somewhat familiar with writing capital letters, this is a great class to review proper writing of the uppercase letters.

Supply List
Please bring lined paper and a sharp pencil to class. It would not hurt to have 2 pencils, in case the first pencil breaks. It is also a great idea to have a good eraser, if your pencil does not have one. If you do not have lined paper and pencils, you can use a dry erase board and a dry erase marker. I will have a paper for parents to print out after class focusing on the letters practiced in class.
2 files available upon enrollment
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
