I have an MA in Jewish Studies from the University of Indiana-Bloomington, and have completed several other academic Jewish Studies and Religious Studies classes, at the graduate level. This includes more than two years of Biblical Hebrew, as well as several classes in Modern Hebrew. I taught Hebrew school in person for several years. As a Hebrew school teacher, I have helped hundreds of students develop and improve their Hebrew reading skills, from the beginner level on. Although I have excellent Hebrew reading skills, I am not a fluent speaker of Modern Hebrew. Outschool is a secular platform, and this class takes an academic and secular approach to all topics.
