Sight words are the basic words that beginning readers need to know. These are words that are found in the basic reading books that your student will start reading with. Sight words can be a task for students to know and to remember. In this engaging class we will make learning these words fun and interactive. Each week we will have 5 new words to work on, these are broken down below into each week. We will build on these until we have all 25! Each class we will read the words, write the words together, make a sentence with the words, and play a puzzle game with the words. We will also review the words after each week, so that we are building upon their knowledge. Students will be able to read these 25 sight words at the end of the 5 week class. Hello! My name is Nicole Dutzy. I have been a teacher for over 10 years. I taught Kindergarten and second grade. I have bachelor's in Early Childhood Education as well as a Masters in Educational Technology. Teaching students to love to school is a passion of mine.

Literacy skills focus ages 5-9. We will start each class with a book. We can learn so many things from a book. These literacy skills will taken us from Kindergarten to the end of first grade.
Circle time for ages 4-6. We will read a book, talk about the calendar, weather, math, and holidays.
Get Ready for Kindergarten Math 4-6. We will improve our math skills for kindergarten with hands on learning.
When I am not teaching I am with my family. I am married and have two boys ages 7 and 8 and a daughter who is 2. We are riding bikes, going to the park, playing baseball, or soccer.Reviews
