**** TEACHING STYLE ****
I use a combination of direct instruction, practice/application, and interactive games. In my lessons, I use research-based strategies. I believe that students learn best when they are having and enjoy their learning time. I love to incorporate interactive activities into my sessions.
Phonics is one of my favorite subjects to teach, and it is one of my greatest teaching strengths. I am excited to share my love of phonics with your learner!Homework Offered
I will provide a handout with different activities and games. Students can continue to practice their letter skills after class. Students may choose to do one page, some of the pages, or all the pages.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
I will provide you with a written progress statement after each class. I will let you know what letter we worked on and any important information that will help you with your child's learning. If you need a formal progress report, please let me know before you begin you tutoring sessions.Grades Offered

I provide additional materials for students to practice the letter names and sounds after class. Some of the activities are cut and glue activities. Students will need to use some scissors and glue. Students need to be observed and may need support in using the scissors and glue correctly. Glue is not gluten-free and it is not editable. Glue should never be eaten by students. I do use Google Slides to show the content for the class. I screenshare my Google Slides presentation in class.
