In this one time online watercolor painting class, creative students aged 7 to 10 will learn the steps & tips on designing and painting 2-3 tasty treats, such as cupcakes. Great for homeschooling families looking to add Art enrichment.
Class Experience
This online class will be a one time class. Students will be able to ask questions in the live class in Outschool platform. During the class students will engage in a fun warm up activity such as a writing/sketching prompt connected to the lesson. Class Breakdown: --Students will engage in the drawing of various 3D objects familiar to students (ie. cupcakes, fruits, etc.). --We will discuss color theory and how to create vivid drawings using watercolor paint. Hi, I have taught in fine arts for over 19 years and visual arts for over 10 years to students from Kindergarten through highschool level. I have undergraduate degrees in art history and music and a MA in Conservation Studies (Historic Buildings). I am also a certified Visual Arts teacher for PreK - 12 grade.
