In this course we will be covering the basic tool functions of Adobe Illustrator and how to use them to create digital art. Together we will draw Patrick Star, step-by-step, all while learning the basic functions of Illustrator along the way. Students will learn how to use the draw using the pen tool and shape tools and how to change colors. We will also cover some basic design vocabulary, the different color types, file types, and how to export and save a file once finished. Students are free to ask questions via chat as we go and will have some time to share their favorite Spongebob episodes at the end. Access to a computer with Adobe Illustrator installed is required for this course.
