US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Beginner - Intermediate Level
This is a drawing class where I encourage interaction but never demand it. Students listen to me read a fun story while drawing along through live demonstration and support. The drawings are made line by line, shape by shape as the story unfolds. My goal is to connect with students and inspire them to complete the drawings by embellishing them with things fueled by their own imaginations. Students will be given the opportunity to share their art and cultivate friendships if they want. This is an ongoing class you can enroll for as many or as few classes as you wish. Pencil control and sketching will be demonstrated and encouraged each week. All who are interested are welcome, no previous experience is required. Demonstrations are completed using a pencil, paper, and an eraser. Color crayons, pencils, or markers are optional and welcome. Each class will begin with a silly warm-up prompt allowing students to draw and express themselves in their own way. Students may want to spend more time after class coloring their drawings. What to expect: 0-10 min = greetings, funny drawing prompt 5-30 min = Draw along cartoon animal 30-40 min = Show & tell share your art option Week 1 - Dinosaur Week 2 - Octopus Week 3 - Monkey Week 4 - Lion Week 5 - Penguin Week 6 - Fox Homeschool and/or private families and groups, please feel welcome to reach out to me if you want to work together to create a class for your group.
