During this class, students will learn how to draw a character from the hit game "Among Us" and how to make it walk using a flipbook. Students will need a blank flipbook for class, you can purchase a 5 pack online for $7. My Amazon recommendation is listed below in the supply list. During class we will also learn the basics of animation discussing vocabulary words like “key frame”, “sequence” and “animation loop” and how to create a walk-cycle with just 8 poses. As the teacher, I will guide the students step-by-step through the character design process and draw and animate alongside them. At the very end we will talk about finalizing the animation by adding cosmetics like hats, skins, and pets. They will also learn how to use their colors to create lights and shades in order to make the characters appear 3D. In the materials section below, you can find everything that you will need for this class.
