Learn French with Ms. Erika in this interactive read-aloud of the French version of "The Bird and the Whale"! In this class, your child will be able to gain French-language abilities by following along to a story that they will love. This is an interactive class and students will be invited to actively participate and answer questions throughout. As the teacher, I will introduce students to several vocabulary words they will encounter in the text prior to reading. As a class, we will create body motions to represent these words and students will repeat these motions each time they hear the word in the story to increase their retention. They will also practice their reading comprehension skills by summarizing and sequencing the events of the story to check their understanding post-reading. Your child will not only increase their French vocabulary in this class, but they will have fun along the way! This class is aimed to improve the ability of beginner French learners. Your child will be able to gain a second language in an inviting and relaxing story-time environment with an experienced, fluent French speaker. Are you ready for a fun class? See you soon! ** Please note that permission has been obtained from the creators for all materials used in this course, including the story, images, and music.
