Welcome to the world of underwater sea creatures. They are both awesome and weird. We will learn about their habitats, their unique characteristics and also their favorite foods! I will use a lot of age-appropriate images, videos and latest news to get my young explorers up to speed with the lives of these creatures. The class will be interactive and students can take part as and when they feel comfortable. The later part of the class will be an instructor led drawing activity, wherein I will walk them through a step-by-step process of drawing these creatures. There is no prior deep sea or drawing experience required. But a curious mind is a must! See you underwater! Come along with me on some fun and educating adventures as I share with my students my knowledge and experience in making and viewing films, making art while also learning all about our planet and its inhabitants. I have an MFA in film and video production and have had the opportunity to teach at various schools, galleries, universities and colleges around the world. My teaching method is interactive and hands-on. I encourage independent thinking and expression and see my role as a facilitator in the student's learning journeys.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking and traveling with my family or spending lazy afternoons doing art!
