Join me on an exciting journey, as we discover the life cycle of a frog! During this class we will read the book "A Frog Grows and Changes" by Christy Steele and we will show what we have learned by making a model of the frog's life cycle with Play-Doh. While I am reading, students will make a model of the frog's life cycle using Play-Doh (can be any color you have already). I will also stop throughout the book to answer questions and check for comprehension. After we read the book, we will...
Students will learn the stages of a frog's life cycle: egg, tadpole, froglet, and frog. We will also discuss the body parts of a frog: eye, ear, back legs, webbed feet, front legs, mouth and tongue.
Play-Doh (color isn't important, but I will use white, black and green)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
