In this ongoing class we will speak French as much as possible, sing, play games, listen to stories and have fun.

US Grade 7 - 10
w.c. 15th April. Life in France! w.c. 22nd April. Review basic conversations. Clothes vocabulary (including colours). Brief look at French fashion. w.c. 29th April. Basic conversations. Numbers. Play Loto. How to say and understand prices in France.. w.c. 6th May. Conversations. Le 8 mai and the importance of this date/public holiday in France. w.c. 13th May. Conversation. On voyage. How could you travel to various French speaking countries? What would the weather be like? What would you see...
Students will gain in confidence when speaking French and will be understood by a sympathetic native French speaker. Students will learn to understand a range of spoken French statements, questions and answers. Students will be able to understand common signs and written information, such as food an drink items at a café. Students will learn about French family life and culture.
Homework Offered
Students will be given short tasks to complete after each class. The next class will include a brief review of the homework tasks. Students are welcome to look at the class recording and practice vocabulary and other items between classes.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
I will let parents know how their child is progressing after each class. I will give verbal feedback to the students in class, with brief written feedback after the class.Grades Offered
Students will need a pen/pencil and paper for work they are going to keep. Students can use pen and paper or a whiteboard and pen for quick replies to questions in class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
