In this five week class, students will embark on the artistic jorney of creating a poster style drawing. For this session, we will create a Lego Dreamzzz picture.

 Week 1
Lesson 1
Lego Dreamzzz Drawing Part 1: Structure
We will start by building the basic structure of our drawing using basic shapes to position all characters/ objects
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Lego Dreamzzz Drawing Part 2: Details
With all characters and objects placed, we will begin adding details to all characters/objects
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Lego Dreamzzz Drawing Part 3: Details continued
Continuing to add details to our drawing and finalize by going over our lines in marker.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Lego Dreamzzz Drawing Part 4: Coloring
We will begin adding color to our drawings with special instruction to techniques such as blending and color enhancement.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Lego Dreamzzz Drawing Part 5: Shading/Final Review
In this last class, we will begin shading and any other final touches on our drawing. Class will end with sharing time and review.

Lego Dreamzzz Drawing Part 6: Review/ Bonus work day
An extra class in case students need extra time or to review work.
Students will have more practice drawing as they see how their favorite characters are drawn step by step and learn cartooning skills to improve their art experience.
*Bristol Paper Pad.  (11x17) Can be purchased at Michael’s or other art stores
*A pencil with an eraser (students MUST draw in pencil)
*Coloring tools Crayons, colored pencils or markers. (Only for coloring after the drawing is done)
*A dual tipped black marker
