Class Experience

Beginner Level
Using my experience, working with young dancers, these classes are designed to be both educational and entertaining.
From the moment we begin class, children are greeted with smiles and encouragement, creating a supportive atmosphere where they can feel confident to explore and express themselves through dance.
In each class, the learners will learn some basics of popular Latin dance steps and how to put the steps to the rhythm of the music.
Children are encouraged to let their personalities shine as they learn to move to the music, fostering self-expression and boosting self-confidence along the way.

We will be working towards setting some combinations to music in each class, and having some fun along the way.

New steps will be learner-directed, depending on each learners capabilities.
Learning Goals
Through fun and interactive activities, learners will develop coordination, balance, and rhythm while building a strong foundation in dance technique.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Your learner dancer needs to be wearing comfortable clothing that they can easily move in. Please have a large enough space for your dancer to move and turn around freely without fear of bumping into something or knocking something over. Footwear - If learners have jazz or flat ballet shoes, that's great, otherwise any comfortable shoes are fine. Please ensure any shoes with laces have the laces tied firmly to avoid stepping on them by accident. Please have drinking water on hand too, as the dancers may become thirsty during their activities.
