Working on a tricky essay? Poring over a heavy text? Relay racing with run on sentences? Whatever ELA challenge you may be facing, we can conquer it together! Maybe you're looking for a teammate to get you through a project, or perhaps you're searching for longer-term support, I'm open to whatever you need to be successful! When working with students, I utilize outlines & graphic organizers, designed to remove the stress and pressure of writing by breaking the process down into bite sized chunks. My teaching style is very relaxed and full of sarcasm. I truly believe students learn best when they're involved and engaged.
Learning Goals
Once you've requested a session, I will work with you prior to the live meetings to discuss schedule and student needs, strengths, and areas of improvement. Every student learns differently, and my favorite part of private tutoring is the ability to zero in on what works!
