Lady Bug Themed Circle Time Ages 3-6

In this 35 minute Ladybug themed circle time, we will talk about the date, the weather, sing songs, and also do a fun construction paper ladybug, and learn some really cool things about ladybugs!

Class Experience

This ladybug circle time will be a blast! We will be talking about the weather, the date, and singing fun circle time songs. We will start the class with a welcome song, and move into circle time. We'll discuss the weather, day of the week, and date, and then move on to our lady bug theme. We will practice fine motor by ripping up pieces of construction paper, and then gluing to our lady bug template, to decorate a lady bug, while we do that we will also talk about ladybug facts. We will also use some lady bug counting cards as well. Then we will move on to the closing of our class.

Learning Goals

Students will recognize the day of the week, the weather, and remember something specific of their choice from our weekly theme.

We will be using glue.

Supply List

A template of a ladybug, no specific one, it can be drawn or printed from the internet.

External Resources

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hi learners and parents! Im Mr. Kendrick. I am so excited to teach on Outschool! I will offer lots of fun circle times, science experiments, early math and literacy classes, and even some dance and movement classes! This is going to be so much fun! I am outgoing, enthusiastic, kind, and respectful of all. I will always adapt to each learners needs, and form my curriculum based on learner interests. I am so excited to see you or your learner in one of my classes soon! I have been working with children since 2017, and I have been in childcare/preschool for 3 years I can't wait to bring some exciting classes!
