Students will practice asking and answering questions pertaining to feelings. Games such as matching games will be used to make learning fun. Students will interact with each other and with the teacher to practice hearing, speaking and carrying conversations. Specific grammar patterns will be repeated to assist in understanding and retention during class activities. Content from previous classes will be incorporated. The class schedule is as follows: Week 1: Learn and practice feelings vocabulary Week 2: Learn and use 'why', 'because' and the verb 'to be able to' Week 3: Learn how to apologize to others in Chinese Week 4: Implement everything learned and practice vocabulary and phrases using conversational exchanges. Writing work sheets for the vocabulary are available upon request in simplified or traditional Chinese characters as needed.
