Kwanzaa is a holiday celebrated by some people in the African Diaspora. Kwanzaa was created by Dr. Maulana Karenga, to highlight 7 key principals that are important to our community. This party will help us celebrate Kwanzaa and will provide an introductory understanding and commemoration of the holiday. This party will introduce learners to the key elements of Kwanzaa in a fun, engaging way.
My family and I have been celebrating Kwanzaa for the past few years. Each year we learn more about the holiday, and I love sharing this uplifting holiday with young learners.
