In this one time class, students will be introduced to knitting and start a simple wrist band project taught by a former Waldorf student and the son of a Full Time Waldorf Handwork Teacher.

Class Structure: At the start of this one time class, students will get the opportunity to introduce themselves and share any experience they have knitting or anyone they know who knits. After the introductions, students will learn how to create a slip knot to put on one needle and with the second needle, learn how to cast on 5 stitches to start knitting the bracelet project. Throughout the class I will be continuously checking the progress of each student and interacting with them to offer guidance as necessary. This is a beginner class so no previous knitting experience is required.

Supply List
- 2x knitting needles (size No. 13 or a size close to that) preferably shorter needles if you have a choice. - any super bulky weight yarn (light color because dark colors are a lot more difficult to catch mistakes)
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
