Class Experience
Learn about different countries, flags, customs/symbols/foods/celebrations, cat breeds, proverbs & copywork
I am a homeschool mom of 2 young elementary children. One of our favorite subjects is history, culture and "traveling the world" through books! I use a variety of resources for my homeschool and love teaching about countries. Our family also owns 2 ragdoll cats and are big cat enthusiasts! Everyone should own a cat!
I do provide all pages for the Travel Binder each week for that country/cat breed but the Travel Binder is completely optional and only for providing the additional value of record of the learner's journey through the countries and cat breeds.
(optional if students plan to work during class) All printed Travel Binder Pages (provided in the Outschool Classroom 24 hours prior to the class time) Crayons Scissors Pencil (optional if you want to do the Travel Binder - highly recommended!) 3 hole punch .5in - 1in 3 ring binder
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance may be necessary if students are actively cutting out collage pictures during class. Use of scissors may require adult supervision.
