**OVERVIEW** Students will learn how to make and decorate cute mochi donuts. Mochi donuts are very popular in Japan. They are chewy on the inside. It's even possible to fry in the air fryer. **STRUCTURE** I will lead students through the recipe step by step by demonstrating the techniques, ensuring that everyone can follow along at their own pace. Students will cook along with me, asking questions as needed. At the end, they'll have the opportunity to enjoy the delicious food they've prepared. **TIME MANAGEMENT** Recipes may vary slightly in cooking times. Please arrive on time to make the most of our cooking session. To expedite the cooking process, students are encouraged to pre-measure ingredients and complete any necessary prep work before class. **SAFETY & SUPERVISION** These recipes are designed to be safe and simple, utilizing appliances like a blender. Adult supervision and assistance is required. My aim is to equip students with the skills to cook independently while prioritizing their safety. **SUPPLIES** Ingredients will be posted in the classroom and sent as a link in the welcome email. Please check the classroom (and your spam folders) for the supply list prior to our session and purchase the supplies before the class. The shipping might take some time. I will also provide links to order the ingredients on Amazon.
