US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
This an enrichment class designed to help students practice common sight words as well as general vocabulary words at the kindergarten level. In addition to reviewing and introducing words, students will practice forming sentences. The goal is to help students master words so they will become more confident readers. In order to keep the class fun and exciting, there will be games, stories, and activities throughout this class. In my reading classes, I use vocal variation and discussion to keep students engaged in class. Here is the weekly breakdown of classes: ⇢ Week of 10/13/2024 : Sight Words- All, Am, Are, At, Ate ⇢ Week of 10/20/2024: Vocabulary Words - Apple, Banana, Cookie, Milk ⇢ Week of 10/27/2024: Sight Words- Be, Black, Brown, But, Came ⇢ Week of 11/03/2024: Vocabulary Words - Red, Blue, Green, Yellow

My name is Desiree. I am hosting Read With Me classes. In those classes, I will read a book in class and discuss themes and new topics with students. I thinking storytelling can be used to make learning fun.
I attained my Bachelor's degree in Finance at the age of 18. I went on to work in the corporate world for a few years. I then decided to take some time to travel. Before I left, I became an online English teacher. I have officially been an online teacher for a 1 year and a half.
My experience extends beyond my online background as well. During college, I signed up to be a volunteer at my church nursery. I did that for about 5 years. I have experience working with kids all ages.
