Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten
In this class we will work on building our reading and math skills. Class includes phonics, sight words, CVC words, and Kindergarten math, such as addition, subtraction, shapes, patterns, skip counting, and number sense. Students write CVC words and numbers, play games, listen for sounds (phonemic awareness), and enjoy reading along with the teacher. We also use discussions about fun everyday things to practice math story problem skills. We connect to the learning through participation. Come join me for fun learning in a caring atmosphere!

Hello parents, Two online resources are used for this class: Google Slides, and Canva. They are used only for screen sharing visual aids and activities, and do not require your learner to have an account or login.

* Kindergarten Learning Circle - Fun reading, math and social time (offered as both a one-time class and a 1×week ongoing class). I teach 1-2 new letters/sounds each week in both formats.* I Love Math! - Small group class ( 1-4 learners) -ongoing 1x per week class to practice kindergarten number sense, number writing, 2D and 3Dshapes, addition, subtraction, and much more.
