Kindergarten Sight Word Fun! Learning Fry's First 100 Sight Words
Class experience
In this fun and interactive ongoing course, students will learn Fry's first 100 sight words taught in kindergarten. Learning these words is crucial to early reading skills because these words are often words that cannot be sounded out and must be read by sight. Each class meeting, students will be introduced to 4-5 new sight words. Students may already be familiar with some of the words in the list for the class, but it is beneficial to continue practicing identifying and using sight words...
Students will learn to read and write sight words from the Fry's first 100 sight word list. Students will learn to identify sight words in text and read simple sentences using sight words and other visuals to complete the text.
I have years of experience teaching literacy skills in the elementary school.
