US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this interactive class, students build foundational reading skills. They learn “super power” reading strategies in order to read a book each week, and establish their identities as readers (knowledge of letter sounds is a prerequisite for this class). Students engage in different activities that address phonological awareness, print concepts, word families, sight words, and punctuation. Students can join any time to learn critical reading skills. Printable books and digital phonics activities are provided so that children can practice the skills at home.
Learning Goals
