During this class learners will review their letters, numbers, colors and shapes by using flashcards. Learners will also practice counting to 100. Learners will review days of the week and months of the year. Learners will begin learning about addition and subtraction. Learners will start working on basic sight words. Please have your learner bring a piece of paper/notebook and crayons or markers. Learners will be writing letters, numbers and drawing shapes. Learners will also start working on writing sight words. I recommend taking this class at least once a week. There is so much to go over to make sure your learner is best prepared for entering kindergarten.

Hello everyone!!
I love teaching! I graduated from Arizona State University with my bachelor’s in Family & Human Development. During my college years I taught dance to ages 3-9. I also worked for an after school program helping children with homework. Right after I graduated my husband and I got pregnant with our first child. Since I wanted to stay home and raise her I went back to being a nanny. During my years as being a nanny I also taught the kids preschool curriculum to get them ready for kindergarten. I’m currently an ESL teacher for VIPKID. I love volunteering in my children’s preschool classrooms.
