In this ongoing class, we will be learning and doing activities to get us ready for kindergarten.
Class experience
This fun class will be centered on circle time basics and life skills. We will have one alphabet, number, and sight word of the day. We will read a book per class and have activities planned. We will also be doing some cooking, art, and drawing activities. There will be time for music and movement as well. We will have a little fun of the school from home. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The purpose of cutting is to help your child with the skill needed in holding and cutting. This will improve the fine motor skills and l will suggest you choose a good pair of scissors. DO NOT forget to give your child the rules as to how a scissors can be used. We will be experiencing different ways of cutting. Playdough is included in one of our activities, if your child is allergic, l am more than willing to help find an alternatives. Cooking: Most of the cooking activities planned are such that parents can modify to suit their children choice. However, if you child is allergic to anything on the list, please let me know so as to find alternatives. The days we will be using the oven and toasters, I will let parents know ahead.
