This class is an excellent one-time class for your Pokemon loving Kindergarten student. Class begins with counting followed by using ten frames to visualize and answer addition problems. During class, we will make addition sentences together and use a Pokemon-themed number line for adding. I am a fun and flexible teacher tries to making learning as painless as possible. During the last 20 minutes of class, we will play Pokemon-themed math BINGO. Activities change frequently to keep students engaged. Class will feature a google slides presentation, games, and lots of discussion. Learners will do best in this class if they have been introduced to addition, however it is NOT required. This class sticks with addition within 10. Don't forget to let your learner bring their favorite Pokemon toy, book or stuffy to share with the class. If they don't have one, they can share their favorite Pokemon instead!
Learning Goals
Learners will practice addition within 10. We will practice addition using ten frames, our fingers, number lines, Pokemon counters and more.

Supply List
Please have paper and pencils nearby for student use. Also, a BINGO board will be sent out prior to class. Please make sure it is printed and ready to go for your designated class time.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
