In this Ongoing class, Learners participate in many Kindergarten level academic and social activities. I encourage them to interact with me and with each other during circle time. We will also take video field trips together!

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this ongoing class Learners will enjoy all things Kindergarten with opportunities to learn, experience, and explore the world through lessons, play, imagination, games, video field trips and hands on activities. I will teach Kindergarten basics thru songs, dance, counting and math skills, writing exercises, learning sight words, rhyme time and tongue twisters. I will upload worksheets in the Classroom each weekend, for parents to print out for the following week that students may color and work on during class. Learners will have the chance to participate with other students as they listen for the Word of the Day, learn to sing the days of the week, months, and holidays. Lessons will touch on Social Studies, Science, all about the weather and more. Video field trips will take us to other Countries to learn about their amazing sites, cultures, and beautifully unique animals. They will have the opportunity to share a favorite item during Show and Tell and we will have special dress up and theme days. Learners may enroll or withdraw at any time. Jan 27 Week 1. As an extra help, I am happy to reply to any worksheets that your Learner would like to share with me that they complete after class, via the classroom email, and give them special awards and stars to encourage and excite them in learning new things. :) Circle Time Routine - Daily Rotation: Singing, Reciting Days and Months Letters of the week and Word of the day Fitness/Show & Tell For our fitness time I have a special exercise board that utilizes large dice to choose each exercise. My students love to see which square we will land on each time and we will all do 1-2 exercises together as well as song/movement time opportunities. I look forward to getting to know your sweet learner and helping them grow, with confidence, thru Kindergarten. My classes instill Growth Mindset skills in each learner.
Learning Goals
Students who continue in the class throughout the year will learn to read sight words, beginner math, colors, shapes and writing skills. We will explore our Communities to gain Social Studies skills and also dabble in Science at an age appropriate level.

Learning Needs
I am not trained nor experienced in teaching children with learning differences. However, Outschool provides classes with many wonderfully skilled teachers who are, so I encourage parents to seek the best equipped teacher for their child.

Crayons, pencil, markers. A beach pail like bucket works well to hold all the supplies and makes for quick and easy clean up.
