Calling all kindergarteners! Come join Mrs. Dahl for this fun, engaging and interactive class. Kindergarten Club will meet one time per week for 30 minutes. This class is designed to give each student multiple opportunities to share with peers, engage with the teacher and an opportunity to practice kindergarten skills in a small group setting.

Supplies for Each Class:
Crayons, Markers, scissors, glue, pencil, blank paper or whiteboard (for practicing writing letters/numbers).
Supplies needed for each weeks class, and materials needing to be printed will be available and announced in the classroom each Sunday evening by 5pm PST (for the upcoming week of class). Most supplies will basic craft/school supplies you will have around the house (pencils, markers, crayons, scissors, play-doh, glue, stickers, etc).

Important Information:
My goal is that all students will be unmuted, however, I will mute students when needed to minimize background noise. The microphone can pick up sound easily. Please make sure your learner either knows how to mute/unmute, or that you sit with them during class so they are able to speak when it's their turn. I am only able to "ask to unmute". The student will have to click the button to actually unmute themselves.

I include bonus activities for each week, so that the learners can continue to practice skills learned during class. These activities are optional but beneficial for the student.
Learning Goals
The students will improve literacy skills through learning sight words, blending sounds, identifying beginning sounds and rhyming words.
The students will improve math skills through learning math concepts (10-frames, patterns, addition, subtraction, measurement, comparing objects, sorting by attribute).
The students will improve social emotional skills through show and tell, turn taking, speaking and listening.
The students will improve fine motor skills through improving pincer grasp, coloring, cutting and eye-hand coordination.
The students will improve calendar skills by predicating what days/numbers come next on the calendar, skip counting and number recognition.
The students will improve writing skills by practicing handwriting and writing simple sentences.
