Ms. Stephanie has created this small, weekly ongoing Kindergarten art class based on her wildly popular 8 week Kinder Art classes. Each week Ms. Stephanie will lead students through a unique art lesson created to specifically help Kindergarten creatives understand what and who an artists are, learn about a variety of art and artists from around the globe, grow art making skills with a variety of artistic mediums, and begin to learn about the elements of art. Parents can also expect children to show growth in their social and language skills as the class progresses because students will learn to confidently articulate and describe their art and creative making activities. Each week Ms. Stephanie will lead students through an opening exercise to help us focus and set intentions for our creative making time together. Then, we will dive right into our learning activity, engaging one another and using our supplies to create artwork inspired by our artist & element of the week. Ms. Stephanie uses visuals, spoken and hand signs as well as the screen share and physical demonstration techniques to help learners of all learning styles.
