We kick things off with "Sunrise Stretches with the Sun," where you'll learn how to greet the day with energy and positivity. As the day rolls on, you'll jump into "Midday Slump, Re-energize!" - it's all about keeping that energy flowing when you might be feeling a bit sluggish. When the day winds down, "Twilight Wind-Down with the Moon" is there to help you chill out and get ready for a great night's sleep. But wait, there's more! We've also got "Anytime Anywhere Yoga Adventures" for those moments when you need a quick yoga fix. Parental Guidance
Parental Consent: A parent or legal guardian, by enrolling your child in yoga class are providing consent for the child to participate in yoga classes.
Health Considerations: Parents/guardians should consult with their child's healthcare provider before enrolling them in yoga classes, especially if the child has any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries.
Voluntary Participation: Children are encouraged to participate at their own comfort level and may opt out of any pose or activity.
Proper Attire: Children should wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing suitable for movement.
Behavior: Children are expected to follow instructor guidance and behave respectfully towards others.
Photography/Video: No photography or video recording is permitted.
Modifications: The instructor reserves the right to modify the class structure or poses to ensure safety and accommodate varying skill levels.
Liability Waiver: By allowing their child to participate, parents/guardians waive the right to hold the instructor or facility liable for any injury or damage that may occur during the yoga class, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Pre-Requisites
All experience levels welcome! You may consider to pop into one of my weekly live "Perfect Your Posture" classes or meet at one of my custom 1 : 1 classes to become familiar with the posture names and alignment.
Supply List
Learners will only need a few items for their class; 1. A quiet distraction free space. 2. A exercise or yoga mat. 3. Comfortable exercise clothes. Ensuring clothing is neither too tight or too loose. Optional Items to Bring; 1. Yoga props such as two yoga blocks. 2. Blanket during final posture. 3. Eye mask or something to cover eyes also used during last posture.
Teacher expertise and credentials
- Bachelor in Communications, University of North Texas
- Yoga Alliance 200-HR Certified Yoga Instructor; this certification focuses on proper alignment safely, adjusting poses for your particular body and providing modifications for postures if a particular posture is not comfortable.
- Teaching hands on yoga for 5 years
- Life practitioner of yoga for 20+ years
