Class Experience

This course is for beginners / intermediate learners. We will meet twice a week and we have classes for four weeks. Your young learner can also repeat this course "Part 5" as many times as they desire since every month we will learn all new songs from new hits to older classic songs as well. The songs we learn will use the standard chords, the more advanced chords, and some songs will also require a capo.

This course, "Learn To Play the Guitar Part 5" will focus on learning to play a variety of songs. This is a great way for the students to practice their guitar skills, have fun as they learn, and also feel motivated to continue learning as they play along other students in their age range. Learning to play actual songs is what personally helped me continue with my interest in the guitar and music.

Many learners decide to give up playing the guitar since they lack motivation. I've noticed that one of the key secrets for helping a new beginner guitar learner to not give up, continue with their interest in the guitar, and achieve longevity with their goal of playing the guitar is to make sure they're having fun during this journey. Learning to play songs along with other learners is one of the best ways to have fun playing the guitar.

I would like for your young learner to continue playing the guitar for many years and this final course will guide them on that path to continue loving the guitar and loving music. See you soon in the classroom.

Supply List
Your young learner will need a "guitar capo". They are very inexpensive and can be found at any guitar store or shopping on Amazon. This accessory, when placed on any of the guitar frets, increases the pitch and changes the key. Some songs that we will learn to play in this course (Part 5) require that the learner uses a capo as he or she plays.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
