This is a fun and interactive introduction to the piano keyboard. Students may use a traditional piano or an electric keyboard. Learners will explore the keyboard, recognize patterns, and learn to find the letter name of any key. They will identify upward and downward on the keyboard and even play a simple song or two. I use a lot of visual aids, imagination, and games in my lessons. Learners do not need to have any previous experience with the piano. This lesson is designed to get your child excited about playing the piano!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I'm Ms. Troeh (it rhymes with "grow") and I love teaching kids! I have taught music for over 30 years at schools in the US, Greece, and Taiwan. I have a Master's degree in Music and am a certified teacher. I play piano, harp, recorder, guitar and ukulele.
Besides teaching, I write songs, perform as a musician and actor, work freelance as a graphic artist, and make crowns and Renaissance jewelry, I've even made crowns for the TV shows "Reign" and "The Spanish Princess."
I love reading, drawing, juggling, and cuddling with my 3 cats.
