This on-going class meets once a week to practice yoga sun salutations. A great way to energize your mind and body to add focus and clarity to your day. Each class will focus on the same movements to allow the students to progress and master each movement. This class is designed for age appropriate progressions. I will give clear and precise instructions and assist students when needed. Students are encouraged to speak freely in class and ask any questions needed during the lesson. This is an ongoing class but each class stands alone so that students may join or leave at anytime without needing further instructions This is a beginners class, no prior experience is needed. I look forward to seeing your student in class! Namaste.
Learning Goals
Students will learn basic yoga sun salutations and be able to progress each move individually through ongoing practice.

Parental Guidance
This is an active class, please make sure that students have adequate space to workout and are physically able to perform the exercises.
Supply List
Please make sure that the student has enough space to move around in , a yoga mat, water, a towel and a yoga block or pillow if needed.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a NASM certified personal trainer for 12 years, I have taught yoga for 2 years. I taught yoga for the Boise Idaho Police department as a way to help the officers learn how to calm themselves during stressful situations. I also do Yoga myself and teach it to my children.
