Hi there! My name is Ashley Soden. I have been teaching elementary and middle grades in a public school setting for over 20 years. I believe learning should be fun, creative, interactive and meaningful. I love to provide hands-on and engaging lessons and activities that encourage the use of
critical thinking skills and higher levels of thinking. My goal for my students is that they not only learn new concepts, but they also build a passion for exploring, experimenting, questioning, and learning! My favorite part of teaching is watching students light up when they have an awesome new idea or they make a great connection to their own lives!
I live in NJ with my husband and two sons. In my spare time I enjoy playing board games, reading, hiking, geocaching, and scuba diving. I also love animals, nature, being creative, doing science experiments, and drawing!
I look forward to teaching your child!
