This one-time, 30-minute class will be a great workout! Students will learn 5 various combinations focused on kickboxing. No equipment is required for this class. The class will begin with a full-body warm-up, followed by combination learning, and finishes with a cool down. Students will work on punching and kicking throughout each combination for a full-body workout. The teacher will teach each combination through demonstration and students can execute the movement through counting along with the teacher. Sneakers and water is required for safety. Parental guidance is required due to the physical nature of this class. An open space is required for students to complete movements including punching and kicking. A student's balance will be challenged throughout this class potentially resulting in injury. The teacher has been completing kickboxing classes for fitness purposes for over a year.
Learning Goals
-Students will learn about their body in space through combination movement.
-Students will work on memory retention by learning new movement combinations.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is required due to the physical nature of this class. Sneakers, water, and an open house are required for this class.
