This class will cover basic descriptive words to describe what people look like. Class activities include games such as matching, conversation practice using specific grammar structures and all exchanges are between student-student and teacher-student. Character writing worksheets are also available for those who would like to participate in the writing portion. Videos links are provided to assist with review between classes. Students are expected to review new vocabulary in between classes. Week 1: Review terms covered in previous classes. Learn to ask and answer what someone looks like. Week 2: Learn new vocabulary for describing people appear to be like. Week 3: Extended family terms. Week 4: Review and combine everything we've covered.

Our teachers are either native Chinese speakers, have an advanced degree in Chinese and experience teaching, or have lived in a Chinese speaking country extensively and have experience teaching Chinese. Our teachers have a wide range of experience that match them to their respective class groups. Our courses include the use of music, technology, games, culture and learning through play. Each course is designed with age-specific targets and resources. Much research and evaluation is continually embedded into our curriculum to make it as effective and efficient as possible. There's always a way to overcome obstacles in learning, especially in language-learning and we embrace the opportunity help students overcome any obstacles they face.
