Class experience
This will be an exciting class about K-pop film-making with a focus on Blackpink and their music videos. We will take a look behind the scenes and see how Jennie, Lalisa, Jisoo and Rose made these beautiful films. From acting and lighting to music mixing, set design and editing we will cover it all. My goal is to help students explore and discover their own unique gifts and talents while studying filmmaking and K-pop. Each student will come away with an understanding of the art of filmmaking and an appreciation of their own talents.
Peter Simmons is an educator with over fifteen years of professional teaching experience in New England and around the world. He is now creating children's events and workshops live and online. His commitment is to educate, ispire and entertain students of all ages. His goal is to help students create a bright future and recognize their own gifts and talents. He got his BA degree from SanFrancisco State University and went on to work at the Harvard University Department of Advanced Visual Studies, Tufts University and Concord Academy.
