Follow Henri Rousseau's imagination and his art as you travel from Paris to the jungle in this art appreciation class for young students. Also, make your 3D jungle you can play with after the class!

Class experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Beginner Level
Students will:
•	learn some facts about Rousseau
•	learn (or review) what artists do 
•	practice their observation skills
•	use their imagination 
•	use their story telling skills
•	exercise their fine motor skills while working on an art project

Supply List:
•	Shoe box WITHOUT LID OR TOP  (please cut it off if attached)
•	Playdough 
•	Wide blades of grass and / or Multiple leaves in oval shape OR any kind of green plants
•	In winter (when there are no green plants), substitute with any of the following: construction paper, tissue paper, clay, playdough, pipe cleaners
•	Glue 
•	Crayons or pencils 
•	Scotch tape
For the craft portion of the class, parental guidance is required for younger students (ages 4-5) for the use of scissors and other materials. Parental guidance is recommended for older students (ages 6-8).  Please note that as per Outschool policy, parents should remain off camera  Thank you.
