Beginner Level
This Jumpstart Fitness class is designed to be not only physically beneficial but also enjoyable while fostering a love for being active and healthy. The program's focus on inclusivity, skill development, and positive reinforcement contributes to the overall well-being and development of participating children. This class incorporates a variety of exercises to keep children active and motivated while having fun moving their bodies. Students will increase stability, flexibility, balance, strength and coordination while building confidence. Key Elements: Warm up: We begin each class with a gentle or lively warm-up that includes activities such as jumping jacks, arm circles, lunges, squats, leg swings, high knees, and dynamic stretches. Cardiovascular Activities: We will incorporate heart-pumping cardio exercises such as hopscotch jumps, running in place, burpees, forward jump, high knee chops and much more. Skill Development: Students are introduced to fundamental movement skills like running in place, jumping, hopping, and balancing that includes yoga poses to enhance overall coordination. Included are exercises that focus on agility, balance, and spatial awareness. Strength Training: There are age-appropriate bodyweight exercises to build strength. T planks, a variety of lunges, overhead reach, a variety of squats including squat and kick, forward calf raises, donkey kicks, push ups with variations, triceps dips, walk downs, inchworms and much more will be learned in this class. Benefits: Healthy Lifestyle Habits: This class encourages a positive attitude toward physical activity, promoting the idea that exercise is enjoyable. It establishes a foundation for a healthy lifestyle by introducing regular fitness routines. Motor Skill Development: The class enhances gross motor skills through various dynamic movements and activities. Students improve fine motor skills through exercises that require precision and control. Social Interaction: The class fosters social development by providing opportunities for teamwork, cooperation, and positive peer interactions and creates a supportive and inclusive environment where We will celebrate individual and group achievements, boosting children's self-esteem. There will be challenges that are attainable yet provide a sense of accomplishment. Energy Release and Stress Reduction: Exercises provide a healthy outlet for excess energy, reducing restlessness and promoting better focus. It also acts as a stress-reliever by releasing endorphins and promoting a positive mood.

Parental Guidance
Students need:
1. An open workout space with an exercise or yoga mat
2. Proper footwear
3. Comfortable clothes that allow for movement
4. A full water bottle
5. An adult nearby because as with any fitness class, injuries can happen as students jump and move their bodies around
***This class needs at least 3 students to carry on to ensure that it is interactive.
Supply List
Students will need the following: 1. Supportive sneakers 2. an exercise/yoga mat 3. a full water bottle 4. a safe space with room for jumping and stretching 5. access to an adult if needed 6. comfortable clothes that allow bending and free movements

Teacher expertise and credentials
The class fitness instructor is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer and certified Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga teacher with experience leading exercise classes for children and a long time love of fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
