What's included
1 live meeting
1 in-class hoursClass Experience
Students will be taught how to juggle one, two, and then three objects in this easy to follow hour long course. Students will be taught how to juggle, avoid common mistakes, and easy practice routines to really master this new skill. Students will also be shown a few more advanced juggling tricks to show them what they can learn to do if they stick with this fun and rewarding hobby.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to properly juggle three objects at once.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Students should not attempt to juggle hard or dangerous objects that could injure themselves or others if they were dropped or thrown. Furthermore, all juggling should be done away from breakable household objects in case a juggler loses control of their balls. Students should have adequate free space around them when practicing so they can juggle safely and unimpeded by their surroundings.
Supply List
Three small handheld objects to juggle. Tennisballs or hackeysacks are an easy solution but anything will work.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a recent UCONN mechanical engineering graduate who has tutored students of all ages in both a professional and volunteer capacity. I teach beginners juggling classes for all ages and intro engineering courses for young children. My values as a teacher are to promote hands on learning in a fun stress free environment. I want my students to be excited to take my classes because they are fun and teach them exciting new skills. Something personal about me is I learned how to juggle in the 5th grade so I really believe anyone can learn to do it.
